For anyone who has visited Iceland - Puffins are ubiquitous to that country. The Latrabjarg bird cliffs are memorable for the thousands puffins and other sea birds that breed there - also, for the smell!! I's a lot of bird poo......however, if you want to lay down next to a Puffin and look it in the eye it's a small price to pay. They make a perfect subject for a linocut.
