Spotted Pardalotes are one of my local birds - not always evident but when they grace us with their presence it is very special. Normally it will be a single bird having a drink but occasionally a pair will arrive. At certain times of the year the bushland is full of their chiming and sometimes we find them nesting (they drill a hole into an embankment or have been known utilize one of the neighbours plastic pipes that they had stored in their shed) They are curious and quite friendly - not a nervous or flighty bird in my experience.
